Recommended Replacement Weight Distribution Shank with Drop for Reese Steadi-Flex System
Question:
Hello, I recently purchased a weight distribution hitch RP66559 and would like to purchase a longer shank for it. Can you give me options for a 6 inch or lower shank? Not sure if I can use another manufacturer or must stay with Reese. Thanks a lot

Expert Reply:
Your Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System # RP66559 is compatible with many different drop shank options.
The Reese Weight Dist Shank # RP3344 has a maximum drop of 7-5/8 inches and a minimum drop or 6-3/8 inches. You can alternatively use the Curt Weight Distribution Shank # C17124 with a maximum drop of 9 inches. I personally recommend the Curt shank to save you some money and get you a great working option.
