The mirror on the CIPA Deluxe Door Mount Mirror, part # 11650, is real glass. The mirror size is 5 inches by 8 inches.
This is a universal mirror that attaches at the bottom of the door and at the top of the door, in between the door and the window. This mirror extends out 17 inches from the side of the vehicle.
I am including a link to a video review of the CIPA mirror.
