Does Brake Controller in Vehicle Need to Be Set for Surge Trailer Brakes
Question:
I have a 2017 Triton bass boat trailer,I believe I have surge brakes do I set my controller on electric or hydraulic.thanks

Based on the picture you sent us you have surge hydraulic brakes. You actually don't need your brake controller at all as the surge systems actuate themselves. The inertia of your trailer pushing on the actuator as you brake pumps hydraulic fluid into the brake assemblies which applies them proportionally to the amount of braking you are doing.
