Replacement Mounting Hardware for Yakima RocketBox on 2000 Chevy Astro with Factory Crossbars

Hi, I have a 2000 Chevy Astro van with a factory rack. the Crossbars are 2 inches wide. I need a u-bolt to fit an older yakima rocketbox. The u-bolt that you sell is 3.75inch inches wide. Is this too wide? Or will it work? Do you have anything narrower? Thanks.

The correct mounting hardware for your older Yakima RocketBox is the Replacement Mounting Hardware # 8870098. The U-bolts in this kit will work with any crossbars that are under 3-7/8 inches wide and under 1-1/2 inches tall. This includes the 2 inch wide factory crossbars on your 2000 Chevy Astro.
In addition to the 4 U-bolts, this kit also includes the needed 4 plates and 8 knobs. The U-bolts themselves measure 4-1/4 inches long center to center and have 1-1/2 inches of thread.
