3-Bike Trunk Rack for 2015 Audi A3 5-Door Sportback

Question:

Hi guys, Been looking for a trunk bike rack for my Audi A3. Have my eyes set on the superb bones 3 rack however not sure if it is suitable for my car... Their fit guides says its ok for 2009-2014 but no ok for 2016-current and completely neglects the 2015 year. If its not a fit, are there any other reputable and reliable ones you can recommend? I ideally would like to have the option of carrying 3 bikes.

The hatchback version of the 2015 Audi A3 is known as the Sportback e-tron, which is a plug-in hybrid. Very few of this particular model have been brought into the U.S. Most were sold in Europe.

This could easily be why bike rack companies like Saris did not (or were not able to) test fit this car for a 3-bike trunk-mount rack. We also do NOT have the hatchback included in our own FitGuide.

BUT (good news) Thule, who markets bike racks globally, does have a confirmed 3-bike rack fit for the 2015 Audi A3 5-door Sportback. You can use their excellent OutWay 3 carrier # TH56BV.
