Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500  

Question:

Would like to know which hitch you recommend for a 2018 3/4 ton GMC pickup with Duramax diesel engine. Have a 40 foot Montana High Country trailer with weight of 12905. Hitch weight 2885. Would appreciate your input. Thanks,

For your 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500 you'd want to go with a fifth wheel hitch since that's what your camper is going to be designed and set up for.

The B and W Companion Hitch like part # BWRVK3500 for a fixed hitch (if you have a long bed) or the part # BWRVK3400 for a slider hitch (for if you have a short bed) would be the way to go as these hitches are considered by many as the nicest hitches around.

To install the hitch you'll need the correct rail kit which is the part # BWGNRK1016 which is a confirmed fit for your truck and coincidentally also doubles as a gooseneck hitch.
