Could Medium-Duty to Heavy-Duty Back-Up Alarm # PK41851 be Wired to LED Reverse Light Circuit
Question:
I just purchased a 2018 Ford F-450 Super Duty Chassis and had an eleven foot tool body installed. Im looking at the PK41851 backup alarm and was going to wire it to the backup lights in the tool body. Are there any issues attaching the backup alarm to an LED backup light? It looks like the white wire is the DC return and the blue wire is the backup lamp signal. Thanks!

There's no reason you could wire the backup alert part # PK41851 that you referenced to a reverse light circuit that is used to power an LED light. This only draws .3 amp so it wouldn't over draw the circuit either.
