Troubleshooting Powered Trailer Landing Gear that Seems Weak to Raise Trailer After Replacement
Question:
I have a 2012 Keystone Raptor 297. I started having a problem with it Jacking up far enough for me to get it off my pickup. I ordered and installed a heavy duty landing gear motor thinking that was the problem. It seemed to help for the first couple of trips but now it will go up only so far and then seems to bog down and blows a fuse. I have lubed the landing gear and that didnt help. I do not here a grinding noise or any clicking sound. Could it be the gearbox for the landing gear?

Sounds like the issue you are having is related to the power of the landing gear. Most likely you have a weak battery or a bad connection and that's why your powered landing gear doesn't seem to have the power to fully raise the trailer.
