2-5/16 inch Hitch Ball Recommendation for Use with Fastway Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800
Question:
I have a trailer that has max gross weight of 7,500 lbs. 3,750 dry weight. Tongue weight is 450 and it requires a 2 5/16inch ball. Would the Fastway Weight Distribution - FA92-00-0800 work? Description says its for a 2inch ball. Thanks for your help.

The way to pick out a weight distribution is to do it based on the loaded tongue weight of the trailer as it's ready to tow. This figure includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. The Fastway kit part # FA92-00-0800 is good for up to 800 lbs tongue weight which should be about right for your trailer. A ball does not come with this so you'd need to provide one like the 2-5/16 inch hitch ball part # 19286.
You'll also need a thin walled socket like # EQ70-00-4800 to tighten the nut of the ball as well.
