Available Hitch Mounted Motorcycle Carriers
Question:
Can i add one of those single motorcycle tow platforms? They basically pulled the bike in the air behind the car on the platform, not like a trailer that pulls behind.

We have several hitch mounted motorcycle carriers like you're describing. I've linked them on this page for you. All of them are for 2 inch, Class III trailer hitch receivers because of the amount of tongue weight that is required to carry a motorcycle. Most vehicles that only have Class I or Class II hitches cannot handle the amount of weight of a bike.
Our most popular motorcycle carrier is the etrailer # e98873 which can handle up to a 500 pound bike. However, like I said before, the hitch and vehicle still need to be able to handle the bike's weight. This carrier is light, and it also has a ramp to make it easier to load and unload.
