Will the Hollywood Racks Over-The-Top Rack Fit a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek

Question:

I need a bike rack for my crosstrek. Will this work? Can I open the trunk if it is on? If not, how difficult is it to put on and take off? I am a woman and would be doing this myself.

Yes, the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top rack # HRF2-3 is a fit for your 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. Trunk mount bike racks including this one cannot be left on the vehicle if you need to open the rear hatch. The rack is not difficult to put on or take off. The first few times will take the longest but once you have done it several times you will be a pro!

If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) then I recommend using bike adapter bar # 64005. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and will provide better ground clearance. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
