You'd lose a little height and weight capacity most likely, but yes the two sizes you mentioned can both fit the same rim like the part # LHWL300 which is a 205/75-15 with a speed rating of 75 mph and a weight capacity of 2,150-lb max load at 65 psi. This has an overall diameter of 27.1 inches too.
