I thought Id seen that I could buy just the sliding base for a BandW Companion 5th wheel hitch what is the part number?

The Replacement Slider Base for B&W Companion Slider 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVB3405 is what you are seeking. This will allow you to use your current hitch head to make a complete hitch like # BWRVK3400.
