Where to place a fifth wheel hitch in your truck bed will vary based on your vehicle as well as the install kit that you are using. Generally, you want to install the hitch in a location where the trailer king pin will be directly over or slightly forward of the centerline of the rear truck axle. If the king pin is too far rearward of the truck axle then the pin weight will make the front end of your truck too light. This can negatively affect your overall braking and steering performance.
Since I do not know exactly what you have, I am attaching instructions for the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit, Item # RP30035, that is a confirmed fit for your vehicle. Hopefully, you can figure out the right placement with these instructions.
I am also attaching an article on fifth wheel hitches for you to check out.
