Is 2013 BMW X5 With Factory 7-Way Set Up for Brake Controller
Question:
Is the BMW X5 with factory 7 way presided for a brake controller?

Expert Reply:
A 2013 BMW X5 with the factory 7-way is set up to use a brake controller without any other additions. There is no plug and play harness available for this vehicle, however, so I recommend using the Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller # C51180 because unlike other brake controllers with your vehicle, there will be no hardwiring necessary for installation. All you will need to do is plug it into your 7-way and you're set.
I've added a link to a video review of this brake controller for you to check out.
