Base Plates for 2000 Jeep Wrangler and Other Components Need For Toad
Question:
I recently purchased a 2003 Itasca horizon MH that came with a Falcon 5250 tow bar still in the original package unused. Looking at buying a 2000 Jeep Wrangler for a Toad. Do you have a base plate assembly that will work with the Falcon 5250 old tow bar and the jeep? If so which one do I need

Expert Reply:
For a 2000 Jeep Wrangler, I recommend the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 1420-1 which is compatible with your Falcon 5250 tow bar.
Other components recommended for your toad:
RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643
Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM56202
SMI Air Force One # SM99243
# RM-88400 relay is required to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn.
You will also need a high-low adapter. I've attached an article to assist and linked the page to your options so you can get the correct fit for your combination.
