Yes! The Thule OutWay Pro trunk mount bike rack, # TH45JV, is indeed a great fit for your 2010 Mercury Mariner. I have included a link to a video showing the bike rack on a similar vehicle. This rack is also available in a 3-bike version, # TH45JV.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame tube that goes straight across (like a typical men's bike would) I recommend using a bike adapter bar, # 64005, to carry those bikes level on the rack. I have linked a video showing how the adapter bar works.
