Recommended Trailer Dolly for 7500 lb Trailer
Question:
I am looking to be able to move my concession trailer short distances 10-12 feet, mainly to help parallel park it and move it to be able to get hitched up at the conclusion of the event. Our trailer is approximately 7500lbs. what would your suggestions be for this application.

For your 7500 lb concession trailer, I recommend the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly with Chain Drive # TVXL2 for a 2 inch hitch ball or # TVXL25 for a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball. This will come with a hand crank and a cordless drill attachment to make moving your trailer easy, whether fully loaded at the beginning of the day or empty at the end of the event.
The very basic hand style dollies like # RA20 are only rated for trailers up to 500 lbs. Even if you were to have something like that fabricated, you would still have safety risks from not having braking ability on that large a trailer.
