Do CE Smith Bunk Brackets # CE10192GA-4 Have a Weight Capacity

Question:

Current bunk configuration is hitting the strakes on my boat. I wanted to remove the most forward portion of the bunk boards, which is about 4ft and create a new bunk placement for the bow. Will this part work on a C channel cross member? The trailer cross member is not tubular thus the amount of surface area is reduced. What is the weighted rate load limit for this item? Thank you for your help. All the best,

Based on the picture you submitted it looks like your trailer was originally intended for a different boat and you'd need to made some modifications to it to get all of the bunks to fit the hull proplerly.

The CE Smith Double U-Bolt Bolster and Swivel part # CE10192GA-4 don't have a weight capacity that is stated aside from CE Smith saying they will basically have the same weight capacity as the bunks that are installed on them.

Ideally you'd box the frame of your trailer where you wanted to install the # CE10192GA-4 as that will provide it with more support.
