Recommended Bike Rack & Cargo Carrier Combination

Question:

Do you sell a cargo carrier I can put a bike carrier on the back of? Through the back of. It looks like there is a 2 in female end on the back, but I want to make sure that you can put something into it and secure it.

The 24 x 60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # C18152 only has one receiver connection, and that one is designed to carry the cargo carrier on a trailer hitch. I spoke with my contact at Curt Manufacturing and they indicated that the other opening at the back of the cargo is not designed to hold anything. What appears to be a opening in the back of the unit is just there because of the design.

However, the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Platform Bike Rack w/ Cargo Carrier # HR1400Z-85 is a better option. This is product is intended to support the weight of up to 2 bikes and they cargo that it will haul. It is also expandable to 4-bike capacity when used without cargo basket. This rack weight as a 2-bike rack is 50 lbs and as 4-bike rack: 74 lbs.
