Ladder Mounted Bike Carrier Compatibility with Ladder That has 10 Degree Bend About 1/2 Way Up
Question:
I have a 2006 Holiday Rambler motorhome and the ladder is straight up to about 5’6” then it bends inward at about a 10 degree angle. Would like to know if the Surco 501BR bike rack will fit.

Expert Reply:
The Surco 2 Bike Carrier for Vans and RVs # SP501BR will absolutely fit your 2006 Holiday Rambler's ladder. The majority of RV ladders are not perfectly straight, but that does not impact the fit of the bike carrier. The carrier will give you the connection points and the bikes will basically follow the curve of the ladder so you can secure them. I recommend using a cable lock like # e98891 to deter theft.
