If your beach cruiser is less than 35 pounds, this carrier will work well. You will likely need to add an adapter bar like the Kuat # UB01 because of its alternative frame to secure it to the rack. With that being said, based on my research, it's very possible that your beach cruiser weighs more than 35 pounds. If this is the case, your best option will be to go with a hitch-mounted rack instead.
