Kayak Carrier for 13 Foot Kayak on a 2005 Cadillac Escalade with Factory Roof Rack

I’m looking for recommendations to carry a single 13’ Pescador kayak on my 2005 Cadillac Escalade with 6.0 engine with factory installed roof rack and load bars, no groove in the center of the load bars. I’ve looked at the Rhino RTL002, but does that need to be used with kayak pads, like the RR571?

It would be beneficial to use a carrier on the factory crossbars on your 2005 Cadillac Escalade in order to protect both the kayak and the crossbars and keep the kayak stable.
