Recommended Ladder Rack for 2017 Chevy Colorado with Tonneau Cover Installed

I am looking for a black ladder rack that fits a 2017 chevy colorado long bed wirh a soft chevy tonneau cover.

It is possible to install a ladder rack on your 2017 Chevy Colorado if your existing tonneau cover mounts completely inside the bed rails (and does not overlap the top of them).

If this is the case, then I recommend the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH43002XT-783 for your Colorado with the 6 foot bed. This is the only ladder rack available for your truck that installs right on top of the bed rails, via the stake pockets, so it will not interfere with a tonneau that installs inside the rails. The rack can actually adjust along the length of the bed and can be easily removed from the base rails. It features a carrying capacity of 1,250 pounds.

This ladder rack is silver in color (with black rails), but it is the only current option that will work alongside a tonneau cover for your truck.
