Ball Mount Recommendation for 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo with Additional Rise  

Question:

Hello, I bought a 1 1/4inch hitch from etrailer last year or so. I bought an aluminum cargo hauler with a 2inch receiver. I have a 2004 monte carlo. I would like to raise the cargo hauler a bit. Problem is, on the hitch is its a too far back to hook a dual hitch extension and clear the bumper. Any suggestions? thanks, Ive changed internets so dont have the same e-mail.

The ball mount you would have bought with the hitch for your 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo would have had a 3 inch rise. So for a ball mount that has a 5 inch rise you'd want the part # 36078 which would give you the additional height you need.

For a 2 inch ball for use with this you'd want the part # 19258.
