Fifth Wheel Hitch Options for Truck with B and W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch Installed
Question:
I have a 2017 F250 super duty 4x4. I purchased a BandW GNRK1117 - Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch, I would like to know if the CURT 16310 X5 Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Adapter Plate would fit my truck.

The B and W Turnoverball hitch part # BWGNRK1116 you have installed in your 2017 Ford F-250 is compatible with the Curt X5 Adapter part # 16310 that you also referenced. This gives your truck bed a set of industry standard fifth wheel rails for a hitch to attach to.
The other option is a Companion hitch that fits your gooseneck hitch directly. So if you have a short bed truck you'd need a slider hitch to allow you the turning clearance you'd need. For that we have the B and W Companion Slider part # BWRVK3400 which fits the hitch you have directly. If instead you have a long bed you'd want the fixed hitch part # BWRVK3500 since you wouldn't need the slider mechanism for turning clearance. The Companion hitches are widely considered to be the best hitches on the market so I know you'd be happy with that route. The X5 adapter is a great choice though too. Especially if you already have a fifth wheel hitch to fit it.
