Troubleshooting Brake Assembly on Trailer Not Applying Brakes
Question:
How can i fix my left side brake on my trailor it doesnt brake but the tire is still rotating what can i do Trailor brakes are locking

First thing to check is to make sure the brake assembly ground wire is connected properly. It's very possible the ground is bad and now the brakes just aren't applying.
If that's good I'd recommend checking the adjustment of the brake assemblies. Behind the assembly is a star wheel you can turn to tighten. Make sure it's tight enough to apply the brakes properly. See attached video for more info on that. 4:39 mark of the video.
Could also be mechanical and you'd have to take the hub off to inspect everything to make sure everything is working fine.
