Braked and Unbraked Towing Capacities for 2018 Hyundai Kona

Question:

Hi guys The towing capacity of the new Hyundai Kona states around 2600 Pounds braked and 1300 Pounds Unbraked. Does that mean I can tow an A-frame camper with a weight of approx 2000 pounds as long as the camper is braked? And if its not braked, I simply wont be able to tow it? Is that basically what it all mean? Thanks in advance

What that means is that if the trailer you are towing with your 2018 Hyundai Kona has brakes and you have a brake controller installed like our very popular P3 part # 90195 that can activate them you have a towing capacity of 2,600 lbs. If the trailer does not have brakes your capacity would then be 1,300 lbs.
