Recommended Suspension Enhancement for 2011 Nissan Titan Towing a Travel Trailer

Question:

Im thinking of adding some suspension enhancements for my towing travel trailer. How do you decide between the different types? you have the Firestone type air springs, than there are the sturdy urethane non-air springs and finally the active suspension kit from roadmaster. can you use the active suspension and springs together? one last thing, the capacity of these. Is it meant to increase your load capacity by that rating. i have a 2011 nissan titan pro 4x. thanks

You only need to use one suspension enhancement on your 2011 Nissan Titan; multiple systems would be unnecessary and, frankly, a waste of your hard-earned money. As for your question about capacity, suspension enhancements will not increase the load capacity of your TItan, it is the amount of weight on your truck's axle that the system can handle and remain effective.

Weight capacity is one of the ways to decide which system to use, as is the benefits of the system when you are not towing, which is why I recommend the RoadActive Suspension Kit # RAS4611 you referred to. This system has a 2,000 lb capacity, which is more than enough for when you are towing a travel trailer, and will benefit your Titan's suspension even when you are not towing. It is an easy install that does not require you to do so much as drill and it will not require any type of maintenance. This kit will benefit your truck's stability by reducing sway and body roll and makes the vehicle easier to handle.

I've added a link to a video review and install of the RoadActive Suspension Kit # RAS4611 for you to take a look at as well.
