Is Friction Sway Control Required When Towing Small Camper Trailer

Hey folks Im new to pulling a trailer and I hear Im going to need a stabilizer. Will this one work for a 18ft. Ultra-lite that Maxs out at around 3500lbs. Reese Friction Sway Control Kit - Economy - by Draw-Tite, Reese and Hidden Hitch Item # 83660 Thanks

Friction sway control like the part # 83660 that you referenced is a great way to fight sway from passing semi-trucks and high winds on the highway. They aren't always needed but they help to provide a nicer towing experience.
