Brake Controller Installation on 2017 Ford F-150 STX Super Crew with Center Console

Question:

I have a 2017 F-150 STX Supercrew - I have a center console so the videos dont apply - I cannot find the wires to hook up my P2 Brake controller. Help!!

On your 2017 Ford F-150 Super Crew with center console, you will need to still locate the brake controller plug in the same location. The dismantling of the dash may be slightly different at the base, but the other aspects should fall right in line with the attached video. You will want the wiring harness # 22292.

If you don't have the factory 7-way, then the wires from your controller are only run to the end of the driver's side frame rail and you will want kit # ETBC7 to finish the installation and give you a 7-way connector. You can choose to use this kit to hardwire the brake controller if you desire. I've attached a video to help.
