What Is The Distance Between The Trailer Frame and Crossbar With The Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Rack

Question:

Item # CC-275. I have a 2007 Dutchman T@b. Will this fit on my T@B, and allow the propane/battery box to open while mounted? I could not see how high it is in inches from the clamps on a frame to where the receiver fits in for bike rack.

The Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier, Item # CC-275, should fit your 2007 Dutchman T@B. I have attached a picture of the bike bunk mounted to the A-frame of a trailer so you have an idea what it would look like. The distance from the top of the A-frame of your trailer to the top of the cross tube is 33-1/2 inches. Depending on your propane/battery box, I think you will be able to have access to it.

If you need a bike rack that is a confirmed fit for this adapter, I recommend the Thule Camber 2 # TH9058. We asked our demo and install guys what their favorite, most easy-to-use bike rack was and this one was at the top of the list.

If you plan on carrying any alternative framed bikes (women's, children, etc) without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar, Item # UB01, which provides a horizontal attachment point.

I have attached some videos for you to check out.
