Recommended Rhino Rack Roof Rack for 2003 Honda Accord Sedan

Question:

Hi: I have a Rhino Rack DS126 set that I am hoping to use on a 2003 Honda Accord Sedan. I am aware the Accord requires the DK030 kit but recommends the DS118 croosbar set. Will the DS 126 work with this car if I purchase the DK030, or am I going to have to purchase an entirely new kit? I have contacted Rhino directly, but to no avail at all. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks, Brian Pipkin

I was able to speak with my contact at Rhino-Rack and she did say that their RS Series roof rack system legs are custom fit designs meant to fit specific vehicle models. This means that even when using the correct # DK030 Fit Kit for your 2003 Honda Accord, the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack DS126B that you already have will not attach properly and fit the vehicle because of the way the legs are cut.

For your Honda Accord, you will need the above mentioned Fit Kit # DK030, along with # RRVA118B-2for the Aero Crossbars, and # RRRLKVA for the 2500 Series Legs. This will give you a complete roof rack system with a weight capacity of 165 pounds. I have attached a short video demonstration on this system, along with the written installation instructions that you can take a look at.
