Solution to Quiet Down Wind Noise of Malone 50 inch Crossbar Roof Rack
Question:
I got from you the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - Aero Crossbars - Raised, Factory Side Rails - Aluminum - 50inch Long Product looks great. But when I put on it my Tule SKI rack it makes a lot of noise while driving. If there is SKI inside it is OK but without SKI it seems that it isnt strong and get into vibrations. I was thinking maybe to connect Malone Pilot Bike Rack to get it stabilized and carry my bike. Is that good idea?

The best solution would be to divert the air over the bars with a fairing like the Inno 48 inch long fairing part # INA262. This will direct the air over the bars and ski rack to make it much quieter. Roof racks and their accessories can cause quite a bit of wind noise and the best way to fight it is with a fairing to direct the air over it.
