Will the Thule T2 or Doubletrack Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Racks Fit Specialized Expedition Elites
Question:
Gentlemen, We own two Specialized Expedition Elites, one is a mans and one is a womans. Will either the T2 or 9054 racks work with these due to the fact the dont have disc brakes and the design of the womens frame not having the top bar? Thank you

Expert Reply:
The Thule T2 Pro XTR bike rack, # TH69JV, has hooks that hold each bike at the wheels, so the frame and brake design is not a factor. If the bikes had fenders, a different type of rack would be needed. I have included a link to the installation details for the T2 for you to view.
The Doubletrack, # TH92BJ, holds the bikes at the frame. On a step through bike that has the really low frame bar that dips down, the frame clamps will still be able to reach it.
