How to Ground Stromberg Carlson JET-5000 Powered Jack on Trailer Where Frame isnt Grounded
Question:
The DC system in my Trailer is Fully Floating - in other words, it has no connection to the trailer frame. With my Magnum Hybrid 3000W invertor and PT-100 Solar controller set up, that is how it should be. It appears that the electric jacks ground to the frame, which will either be dead, or unfloat the DC system altogether. Any Ideas? Thank You

What you'd want to do is basically run a wire with a stripped off end underneath the mounting flange of the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000 and then run the other end to the ground of your trailer and it would ground properly.
This would not negatively affect your floating system at all.
