Parts Needed To Add A 16K Sidewinder To A Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch

Will sidewinder work with Reese 16 k Kwik Slide manual hitch. I would leave it in the tow position. I have 2011 Chevy 1500 with 5’8 bed, would replace 1621 Lippert pin box

The 16K Sidewinder part # RP34FR is the best option for your trailer. If you have the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Square Tube Slider # RP30051, these two parts will work together.
I also recommend 5th Airborne Custom Wedge for Select Series Fifth Wheels # SWW-03. This 5th wheel wedge is a simple but reliable way to allow a 5th wheel hitch to be used with a 5th wheel Sidewinder pin box.
Yes, it must stay in locked towing at all times, or you can switch to fixed legs part # RP30727.
