Is Trailer Brake Circuit Needed to Use the Prodigy RF Trailer Brake Controller
Question:
We have a jeep jk unlimited with the 7-pin Mopar wiring harness. The BLUE wire from the factory harness is for a hardwire controller. Does the BLUE wire need to be hooked to anything with the Prodigy RF wireless bake controller?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The blue wire for the trailer brake circuit does not need to be active in order to use the Prodigy RF, part # TK94FR. All you need is the brake, turn, and tail lights along with the 12 volt power circuit which should be on the pin in the 1 O'clock position on your JK.
