Can a Gooseneck Hitch Be Used with the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit Part # RP30073
Question:
I purchased a draw tite signature series 24K fifth wheel hitch back in 2009 for my Ford F-450. Your number 40259 and mount kit 30073. Instructions are from Cequent Towing group. Hitch says Draw-tite but they dont show anything like that on their web site. I think Reese. But I dont see a signature series. This one is quick attach which looks like the Elite series Reese. I am wondering if I can get a quick attach plate for this for a 2 5/16 ball?

Reese and Draw-Tite are both brands that are distributed under the parent company, Cequent Performance. The part number you gave for the hitch "40259" is for the Signature Series 24K Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch by Draw-Tite and Reese which uses the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit part # RP30073.
In order to use a gooseneck hitch with the Reese Elite Series Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit you are going to want the Reese Elite Series Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # RP30845 which mounts to the pucks and provides you with a 2-5/16" hitch ball that has a 25,000 lb towing capacity.
I have attached a review video of the above gooseneck hitch for you as well.
