Troubleshooting Weak Lighting Signals on Flat Towed 2008 Jeep Wrangler

I have a 2008 Jeep Wrangler a flat tow on my RV when i signal on the left side , the right side also turns on But the light is dim. Both Brake lights work, right side signal work perfectly. Do u guys have any solution

The issue you describe sounds like a classic grounding problem. Weak or loose grounds can cause all sorts of weird behavior from lighting circuits so I suggest you carefully check all wiring and connectors for grounding your towed Jeep Wrangler.

Sometimes corrosion can develop in places where it is tough to spot, such as under a ring terminal or even inside a plug. Try removing the grounds and cleaning/sanding those grounding points thoroughly to remove paint, primer, rust, grease or even dirt or water that may have worked its way in.

If you use a diode kit with wiring extension like # RM-15247 check the condition of the contacts on both ends of the cord and in the socket too. Do the same on your motorhome's connector.
