Rear Helper Springs to Reduce Sag when Towing with a 2018 Ram 1500

Question:

I just upgraded from a 2015 Ram 1500 to a 2018 Ram 1500. Pretty much the same truck. I have been pulling a 33ft travel trailer using a 12,000lb equalizer Hitch and Airlift 1000 lb helper springs AL60818. I want to try some try some Timbrens in place of the helper springs AL60818. Recommendations on what Timbrens I should try or do you recommend something else. Truck pulls the camper nice and straight just looking to get a little of the sag out of it. I have adjusted the hitch many times to get the best result.

Timbren helper springs # TDR1500DS will fit your 2018 Ram 1500 and will reduce that sag that you have when towing. The Timbren springs are easy to install and require no maintenance. But they will make the unloaded ride stiffer.

The similar SumoSprings Solo, # SSR-307-47, will also reduce sag, are easy to install, and require no maintenance. But with these springs the unloaded ride quality won't be as stiff.

If you are looking to get away from air bags either set of helper springs above is a good way to go.
