Help Identifying Unknown Trailer Wiring Circuits on Trailer
Question:
My trailstar boat trailer has a 5 pin flat plug with 8 wires the green is for right turn. The yellow is for left turn. The two browns are for taillights and running lights. The white is the ground. The blue is for the surge brake. And I have two white wires with brown lines. I cut my trailer plug into and know im repairing it with a hopkins 7 way style connector with a 8foot trailer cable end. I know what everything hooks too except the two white wires with the brown lines they are suppose to be the left and right taillight ground what wire on the hopkins plug do they hook too.

Since those wire colors aren't standard I'd recommend using a jumper wire from a 12 volt car battery to put voltage on the wires to see what type of circuits activate on the trailer. It could be for interior lighting or a battery charge line though too.
