Powered Jack Replacement Recommendation for Powered Jack that Wont Extend

Question:

My power tongue jack will retract but will not extend. I checked the toggle switch with my meter and found it to be operating correctly. Do you think the motor has failed and if so, is it time for a new jack? Mine is only 2 years old. Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

It does sound like the motor has gone bad since you tested the switch and it is working properly.

It has a lifting capacity of 5,000 lbs which would be more than you'd need but will ensure that the jack will operate quickly and last a long time.
