Will this tent fit a small cargo carrier?

I have a converted cargo carrier that I was thinking of adding a tent like #RL110907. Do I have the correct one or is there a better tent to attach to my cargo trailer? It has a 4 ft x 4 ft opening

The Rightline Gear SUV Tent, Item # RL110907, you referenced is really more designed to connect to the rear of an SUV, minivan, or crossover vehicle. It is a confirmed fit for your 2005 Jeep Liberty and has some adjustability built into its design. It will fit an opening measuring 57 inches tall and 21 inches off of the ground (see picture). However, it is made specifically for vehicles so you might work out a "fit" for your cargo trailer but no guarantee and certainly not meant to be used with a trailer.
