Question:

Thank you for your help I appreciate it. I should have specified in my original question, but my truck is 4WD , will these still work? Thank you.

The Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs # CSS-1125F are a fit for your 2WD 2012 Chevy Suburban 1500's front axle and can install with or without the removal of the strut from your truck. They will adjust progressively so you'll get more stiffness from the springs the more weight you put on and they'd do a good job of helping support the extra weight from a brush guard and winch.

I've added a link to a video review and installation of these springs for you to take a look at.

The Coil SumoSprings # CSS-1125F are not a fit for a 4WD version of your 2012 Chevy Suburban. There is only one suspension enhancement system available for the front axle of a 4WD 2012 Suburban 1500, the Timbren # TGMFK15B. The Timbrens will work but have a 14,000 lb capacity and are designed for heavy-duty use such as when using a snow plow. They will replace the axle bump stops on your frame and do not require any drilling to install. Like the SumoSprings they become more rigid as more weight is added.
