High Capacity Trailer Jack Recommendation with Wheel Caster and Tall Bracket Height
Question:
First off, just want to say I have always appreciated the level of customer service I receive from E-trailer. Thats how I base my loyalty and patronage, and you guys nail it every time. So thanks! My question is: Ive looked around the site for a wheeled trailer jack but couldnt seem to find what I am looking for. It needs to mount to my existing pipe mount, must be a wheel, have total extension from the pipe mount/trailer tongue to the ground to at least 24 inches and have a capacity of 2k lbs. minimum the trailer weights about that, so but more would be good but I think 2k would be sufficient. Can you recommend something? Its for an offroad/expedition trailer, so if there is an option with a wheel that is more suited to surfaces not so flat and level, that too would be preferred, but Ive used the standard wheels for my other trailers, so its not that big of a deal - just curious if there is another option. Thank you!

The jacks we offer with wheels have lower capacities as it's hard to make a wheel as strong as a flat plate like what is seen on the higher capacity jacks. Since jack capacity is based on the tongue weight of a trailer, and tongue weight is typically right at 10 percent of a trailer's total weight the need for a 2,000 lb tongue weight jack is kind of scary to think about. Reason being that the total trailer weight would be around 20,000 lbs which would be nearly impossible to move by hand with a wheeled jack...or stop.
We have the Fulton Jack part # FXPD15L which has two wheels and a 1,500 lb capacity. Has full extended bracket height of 24-1/4 inches. This does not mount to a pipe fitting. Which even if it did it would be hard to know if it would fit since all the pipe mount styles are different between manufacturers.
