Are Outriggers Needed to Install RV Steps on Cargo Trailer
Question:
I have an enclosed cargo trailer that I have converted into a toy hauler. It currently has no steps to get in or out of the side door and I would like to add some. Do I need these outriggers or can I just mount folding steps looking at two step models to the frame itself somehow? Thank you!

It's going to be much easier to install RV steps to a cargo trailer with a set of outriggers like the part # LC301704 instead of trying to attach them directly without. I'd recommend going with a set of these and you'll be best served.
