Recommendation to Replace Landing Gear on 2006 Keystone Raptor 3712 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

We are still looking to make sure these are the right parts for our 2006 keystone raptor 3817? We are parked at a campground now and we torn them apart, here is a picture maybe to make sure we are both looking at the same thing. Thanks again for all your help.

Based on my research, it looks like your 2006 Keystone Raptor 5th Wheel Trailer should be equipped with a Venture landing gear system, although I do recommend verifying this. For a great replacement system, I recommend looking at the Lippert Electric Landing Gear Set # LC333964.

This is a really nice system that features an electric motor to eliminate the need for hand cranking and a combined weight capacity of 6,000 pounds. The outer tube has a length of 29-1/2 inches and the distance between the weld stops is 17-1/2 inches. You can compare these dimensions to your current landing gear to see if this will install without the need for any modification. Otherwise, mounting brackets are included that can be welded onto the trailer for installation.

Thank you for the pictures, they are big help! The numbers printed on your landing gear do refer to a Venture or Lippert system, so the Lippert Electric Landing Gear Set # LC333964 mentioned above should be a great replacement. I recommend simply taking a quick measurement between the weld-stops on your trailer to see if this will bolt right up without any further modifications. The distance between the weld-stops on this Landing Gear System is right at 17-1/2 inches.
