Best Platform Bike Rack for Ground Clearance, Quality, and Lightweight

I want a platform rack to put in my 1.25inch hitch on my 2012 Mazda Miata. I have found two reviews comparing these two racks, one states that there is a 4inch rise on the xc verses a 3inch rise on the xtc-2 rack, indicating a higher clearance on the xc model. Another review states that the wheels sit lower in the xc model verses the xtc-2 model, indicating that there is more clearance on the xtc-2 model. Ultimately what I am looking for is the best clearance and the lightest rack, with out compromising quality. Can you help me pick a rack?

Since you said you want the best possible ground clearance without sacrificing quality the best option you'll have is the Saris SuperClamp EX part # SA4025F. This rack has a shank rise of 5 inches and the wheel trays support the wheels from the bottom of the tire so none of the tire would pass through it at all. This rack is also very lightweight at 35 lbs which is going to be the lightest option around.
