Does a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Require a Brake Light Relay when Being Flat Towed

will the a-720 work on 2011 jeep wrangler unlimited? i lost the relay that was installed on my 2003 tracker, but i have all other parts of my even brake system purchased in june 2009.

To determine if your 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited needs a brake light relay, there are three things to consider. All three of these have to be true for your vehicle to necessitate a brake light relay.

If you use the towed vehicles brake light as both the brake signal and the turn signal for towing (combined system); if a supplemental braking system that either pushes or pulls on the brake pedal has been installed; and with the ignition off, the towed vehicles brake lights illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed.

The kit that is compatible with the Roadmaster Even Brake, # RM-9400, is the Roadmaster Brake Light Relay for Towed Vehicles, # RM-88400.
